It's a good thing I'm out of room right now, otherwise I'd be driving to Chicago. :)

I think you should go get them. You can always make more room! All must be kind of rare but especially the washer/dryer.

These look to be very lightly used and these days the Combo is certainly rare and it probably could be gotten running again. The range is certainly a good performer, but BOL for a Hi-Low GE range and I wouldn't even mention the DW, LOL.

YAY Ben, I have about any part you may need for the GE combo, GE Combos were really about the simplest and most durable combos.

Ben, that's the pits. Hopefully they will take great care of everything and are not simply deceiving y9ou and wanting to just dump everything. I'm sorry. Bob

Ah, Crap.

danemodsandy's profile picture
Sounds like someone using CL to find out if they have something valuable/special.

I'll bet you'll see it resurface later at a higher price.

Damn shame. I know what it's like to get close to a dream and have something go wrong.

That's really tacky behavior on the part of the "seller." Sorry for you.

I don't believe the seller had any ill intentions. I truly believe they decided to keep them to use.

I did ask that, if in the future they decide to sell, to let me know. They said they would.

Ben

Sorry this did not work Ben, if they are true to their word you will soon hear from them on the GE Combo.

I remember when we used to service a 400 unit condominium complex where all the units had GE combos, we spent a LOT of time explaining how to use these machines to the owners and renters. Most people hated the machine and almost all were replaced when the machines were between 10 and 20 years old. Only a hand full of users really liked the machine and tried to keep it going.
