Ad : " Maytag washer model # LAT9800AAW and dryer model # LDE9801ACW, both seem to work good but we have not tried all wash cycles or dryer heat levels. Decent condition, selling as is, $200 for the pair. They were in the house we just bought and we don't need them. If interested call me at... "

I wish I hadn't seen this! These are a dream pair for me, and I'm totally oversubscribed on machines right now.

Damn damn double damn.

But Sandy, these are right there in Iowa. Around the corner. Surely yhou oculd stash them somewhere. I know you have a small house, but, collectors evolve. Supplant pieces of furniture such as end tables, night stands, buffet/sideboard for serving. Look to be in decent shape.

When I say I have a small house, I mean 480 square feet. The only place I could put these babies right now would be in my pockets - if I spent the Winter standing out in the yard. :)

Phil:

This is payback for the "on purpose" joke, isn't it? :) :) :)

Sandy - :-) lol ! I grew up in a 480 ft2 home(parents added a 12x 15 bedroom later for themselves)..I am very familiar with "no room". With these dream Maytags, either you give up what you have and move them out or store them..somewhere. (fyi- these were the sets that I wanted, but they're not too often seen in matched sets).

Bob - tormenting a member...can affect circulation...we need Sandy as much as Sandy needs Sandy. :-)

if this is a dream pair for you & if they are close to you, and this is something you really want, why don't you go to take a look at them? maybe you can talk the seller down on the price. and you could definitely check them out more in depth to see if they both work properly???

you can always weight out which washer & dryer you want more, the ones you have now or these ones here?? which would you rather have??

if you change your mind or decide to contact the seller, keep us posted. now i'm curious for you!!!

you know, i noticed that there are alot of buttons, on both this washer & dryer.
