Hmmmm. 
Good thought, but as I remember the Commercial Bendi that were in the Laundromats (ie: Double Loader) Had the lid on the top and you could watch the wash cylinder rotate and actually spray up water during the spin (I did this alot as a child when my Mom and I used to go to the Speed Wash in Buzzard's Bay) So Maybe... that was the same concept or design ?

Maybe with the dispenser lid closed the spin splatter was enough to keep it semi-flushed out? | ||
