I tried to adjust the color - don't think these are yellow...priced high?

Ad reads: " Older large capacity Frigidaire Horizon 2000 washer and dryer set in very good condition. Original owner - became second set when we married. Used once a week - not abused. Automatic dryer settings determines drying time and saves energy. Shuts off automatically and tumbles 10 minutes without heat. Both have many, many loads left .Contact for more information. Delivery can be discussed"

natural gas. Match to the washer. As hot as those dryers are purported to be, I wouldn't want a match anywhere near it lol. Pure WCI.

as the ad read: " .....many, many loads left"

if it's crap, maybe it should appear on a POS MASTER LIST ...refer to at own risk..and include the infamous Horizon 2000....

TV Commerical

Does anyone else remember a commerical for these washers in the late 1980's or early 1990's that had a bunch of washers "dancing" around with unbalanced loads?

Collectors Item

These are definitely a collectors item as you wouldn't want to put these in operation as a daily driver. Many on this site don't like them, but they do have a place in washing machine history.

The worse tendencies even WCI could give...!

The washer looks like grandma's though she didn't have the softener dispenser and the trough lint filter in the dryer is more a lint catcher than the more preferred bigger slotted kind...

Still...

Even the crappiest of machines, when shown a little care, can last for years and years. A friend of mine has the set that followed this design (black panel with orange lettering) and neither one of them has had a repair in the years that they have had them.
