this kenmore dryer has been at this 2nd handstore for over a month now. i don't know anything about it but thought some would be interested in seeing pics of it. the store does have the original knobs (or so they say that the knobs are original). i asked to see them, thinking the knobs were going to be slick & chrome looking. but they didn't have any kind of "wow!" to them, from what i remember?

The very first dryer I bought was this model in gas. Knobs were plain chromy ones. Always worked just fine. Gave it to my brother in law when I bought these Maytags 30 years ago. I believe it was an 80 series.

At one time Gansky1 had the matching washer. One of my best friends from high school, his mom bought the matching washer to replace their 1959 or 1960 Model 80 alphabet Kenmore washer.
