Funny in a couple of ways: First, the target which was associated with TIDE, although in different colors. Also, the later Dash box and advertising said that it was only for washing clothes, not dishes, floors etc.

I've seen one of these for sale before. It's interesting because it is soap, not detergent & thus clearly older than the low suds Dash detergent many remember fondly.

Another reason is that P&G's address is given as Long Beach, Calif. and Kansas City, Kans., not Cincinnati, O. From that I'd guess is was a regional/western US brand at the time.
