Have had the new dryer to go along with the new front load washer since Wednesday. It is doing a great job It is the GFDS140EDWW that we stacked on top of the washer with the stacking kit. Has the steam option to freshen or help de wrinkle clothes. Nice thing with this dryer is it is connected to the cold water supply instead of having a you fill bottle on it. It is doing a good job of drying bulky items and so far has not balled them up like our older one did.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering if you had taken delivery of the dryer yet. Please post some pix or possibly a video of operation of your new team paired up. There is nothing on YT for either of these machines.

MRB627/Malcolm I will try to video them an put on you tube. They are both very quite. Even the electric pump is Less noisy than our old one and the water coming in is fairly quite. In operation the tumble is very quite and the spins are quite and almost vibration free.

Really do like this dryer. I prefer it over the Kenmore that we had stacked with the old washer that we had. This is our second GE so do like the features it has and they way it dries. Had done large loges from the washer in it with big items like sheets or blankets and so far no balling up. I have found that with this dryer and drying the clothes from the washer they are much softer than from the ones we had. The steam function is great and does a good job on freshening a item put through that cycle. All around I am happy with the washer and dryer.
