There is a laundromat by my house and for a while they had in a row Tl SQ's and about 7 or 8 FL's and more SQ Fl's and then 3 of the "big boys" and in my walking around i went in there and they had brand new Continental FL's ( they still have factory stickors on them) where the SQ's were i managed to get a pic of them.

Hello...I'm deaf and best friend...my name is Peter.

Is that Continental spin (express by fast)?

These are soft mount (not bolted down), high extract (300G) washers. Continental (and most store owners) considers them doubleloaders. They should vend for between $1.50 and $2.00.

I'm currently negotiating for my 3rd laundromat and it has these machines in it.

Is she double-jointed BTW, or just very fun and flexible?

ROTSA RUCK Peter.

I'm sure you'll fill us in as to the mechanical details when you own 'em!

no she's fun and flexible

They range from 2.00 to 2.25. 2.25 is for the super wash. and every thing else is 2.00

Soft-mount for HE washers?

Is it a trench for new laundromat FL to go "high efficiency" by using soft-mount so that they could have fast spin to provide high extracting force (say 300G or more)?

It seems that these FL use a conventional boot which connects the outer tub to the cabinet and the door is mounted on the cabinet.

These FL seem to have a wide of about 27". So the capacity could be similar to an commerical/homestyle SQ FL (say 18 lbs, 2.84 cf DOE or 3.3 cf IEC)

Continental-Girbau

Very cool machines; finally there's a "mainstream" soft-mount for the laundromat!! Would love to see one in action...

Peter, I'm interested about the tub design as well. Is there the traditional door boot or is it the Asko-style "moving door" tub? I'm thinking the latter judging by the picture of the door, but looks can be deceiving...

There ts a boot about 2-3 inches long from the door to the tub
