So goes the ad:

" I have a beautiful kenmore sears matching pair of washer and dryer. They are from the 1950's, they are white, original buttons, clean and most important still WORKING.

The washer is a Kenmore Sears Portable series. It has one water hook up for the water and a drain hose. It washes and drains fine. Maybe better than some newer pieces.

The dryer is the matching set. It's a Kenmore Sears Portable series. It's ELECTRIC powered, it's white in color, and heats up better than the new ones.

Asking 395$

Truck available. "

"They are from the 1950's"

Yeah, like the '70s part of the '50s.

At least they have the stack stand - those things are scarce as hen's teeth these days.

LINK FIXED

Sometimes, for some reason, my links are getting appended with http:... (rest of address). I don't know why - but I removed that http:... and the link now works...so try it again, above there in original posting.
Thanks Appnut.

It heats up better than the new ones?

Is this the  little 220v. stack dryer?  Someone took reasonable care of these.

The 220v version of these dryers were pretty rare... However, I'd bet a turquoise dishwasher that a 110v dryer like this could still outperform that horrid Magic-Norge-Tag I have in Montreal!!

So wish I still had mine. Hopefully will find another one.
