I know very little (if anything) about Westinghouse products. Just curious as to when they ventured into the top-loader market?

I think it was about 1963. Easy made WH's first top load machines for a year or two, I think. Westinghouse-made top loaders had a perforated tub and the Easy-made machines had a solid tub. Imagine the joys of the Westinghouse repairmen who had to learn the Easy top loader, the new WH front loader and then the new Westinghouse Top loader. I think it was the decision to introduce the top loaders that caused the change from slant front 30" wide front load washers and dryers to straight front 27" wide front load washers and dryers.
