This one, model #WM2487WM , Is about three years old . Mint condition on its console and still showroom shiny. However, the motor is shot. For free though,I'm not complaining. My friend went and brought it over since I'm still in bed. I did go check it out and called LG customer service. They told me,after I gave them the serial number. The unit is still under warranty! I'll order the parts tomorrow.

This model is white. It has the steam cycles, sanitize option, interior drum light and a 1400 RPM final spin. Since they're similar, I'm considering selling the 2277. I finalized the replacement of its door lock assembly, ran it through seven full cycles and it is absolutely the best current model front loader out. Both units have the adjustable pressure valve which enables one to either increase or decrease the water level. The 2277 is all ready set. It fills almost an inch below the base of the hidden door handle. That one is so fun to watch especially when it starts spraying recirculated wash and/or rinse water directly onto the fabrics . Fun to listen to also. When she spins, it torks up like a jet or a rocket. What puzzles me is how these customers can afford to be so wasteful. The replacement part for the 2277 totaled $51 including shipping. I was here in only five days and took only ten minutes to replace. Cheap and easy fix.

This one is real sick. The mother board is fine but the spider pulley needs replacement. A major repair. Bob came and verified the problem and , once the parts arrive, will bring this bad boy back to life. I spoke to Morris at LG Customer Service and lengthened the service contract for three more years. The original one expires on 5/25/14. Bob will be replacing the inner tub, spider pulley and seals. I'm selling the 2277 asking $850 for it and will turn it on to let those interested see that it works fine.
