Picked up this SQ twin tub washer on Saturday afternoon and I've just had a chance to bring it in for a quick inspection. Oddly, the cord was cut off at some point but other then a twitchy wash timer, it seems to work mechanically.

I grabbed a terrible video of the machine running - all functions seem to work, the pump is quite loud but that wasn't too surprising so I didn't run it long. I have not put water in any part yet, I want to give it a more thorough check before getting it wet. The wash timer works at the delicate setting but then as it's turned past that point, the motor stops and doesn't run. I suspect there is a bad contact point inside the timer so I'll have to pull it out and have a look.

Square knobs are a hoot! Do I detect 210 tru-arc washing there?

That will be fun to play with. I'll send you some soap powder!

You will have a blast with this machine.
Hope she holds her water and the wash timer can be adjusted to work properly.

Of Course.....Congratulations Greg on finding a classic Servis Supertwin badged Speed Queen twintub, this is based on the Servis Supertwin MK70 launched in 1970...

You had a few extras on your model such as the two speed wash motor and direct drive spinner...

Enjoy!!
