Guys

My WO-65 sat for many years in my waiting for a restoration. As you might remember,  I started this project several times but had to stop because I couldn't find parts and I was depending on local friends traveling to the US because, as I hate banks, I always refused to have an international credit card.

Well, past a few weeks, my bank just told me I had no other option. They finally found a way to push an international card down my throat.

And... now that I have it, let's make it useful. But please, guys, HELP ME. Don't do like some people did years ago that tried to charge me much more than a fair price for a torque spring with the excuse "you're not american". I know it doesn't cost 500 dollars.

This machine was a gift from a very nice member, Emilio, from Argentina. and it's very important to me. Other members also helped me a lot. I won't mention their names because I don't know if they want their privacy exposed this way but I'm very, very, very thankful to the member that mailed the service manual and also the member that sent me the timer (without the motor).

I want and I will make a complete restoration and I want to make it fast. I have to see this machine back to life before I move to the US. Of course I won't be able to take it with me so, if I don't fix it now, it will end up in the crusher.

The first thing I need is someone that really knows everything about this machine and that has time to guide me "in real time" by Skype or any other webcam messenger and help me identifying exactly what parts can be used and what parts I have to order.

The second part of the project is ordering those parts. And I'll need LOTS of them. Being ouside US, it's very difficult to search for those parts.

Here's a good start for you: A Frigidaire Tech-Talk summary that should cover your model, right here in Automatic Ephemera:

It's too good to pass up, even for someone like me who doesn't own a WO-65....YET! LOL
