ok, this is something that i was just asking in another thread about maytag dryers. one dryer had no buttons, just the center timer control knob.
there was another dryer with 4 buttons which brian explained to me were: "LOW TEMPERATURE", "REGULAR TEMPERATURE", "NORMAL DRYNESS", "EXTRA DRYNESS". so, what would the 2 buttons on this maytag dryer be??? and i'm guessing the 2 buttons make this dryer a lower end model compared to the 4-button model?? i never knew washing & drying clothes could be so confusing??? LOL..... |

i'm trying to figure out the differences in the model numbers of the maytag center dials. even though i don't use a dryer that much myself, i usually hang my clothes outside on the clothesline. but for the times that i wash blankets or sheets, i'm sure a dryer would come in handy. not to mention when washing on rainy days. when a dryer is definitely needed. i would probably want the option of "low/delicate" heat for my polyester blend blouses that i use.
i want to figure out which maytag center dial dryer would be the best fit for me & my needs. so if & when i decide to buy me a matching maytag center dial dryer for my GA208, i will know which model to look for. and since it would be blankets & sheets that i would be using a dryer for, i am guessing that my best bet would be an "S.O.H." dryer compared to an "H.O.H.". i can wash my sheets in the standard sized tub of the A208 but i'm pretty sure i can't wash a blanket in the A208 but i can take it to the laundromat and bring it home to dry. not to mention, i don't think i would like having to reach all the way to the back of the drum, to clean out the lint filter. LOL..... so, i'm trying to figure out what the buttons are & how many buttons there are total. so far, i'm seeing 2 buttons & 4 buttons. with 4 having the extra options of "normal dryness" and "extra dryness". hmmmm..... |
