Frontloader of the "original Miele style" plus according spin dryer. It would be a shame to let them go.
Although not energy A+++ I do know from experience that this machine will get anything clean as clean can be. Boilwash and what have you.

I bet

It wont use near as much water as a toploader...probably about like a Bendix.

Where is Samantha or Endora when you need them?

Have a friend or two in Germany but cannot get them to indulge my laundry habit for love nor money! *LOL*

Apparently shipping anything out of Germany is that much of a hassle, especially large and or heavy items.

Oh well one can dream....

The spin dryer is older than the washer. The washer is from around the early seventies, it has the electric door opener.

Here is a link to the 1973 Miele brochure, the last year the 412S was available. As you can see in the specifications it used 165 liters for 4.5kg of laundry. That is 43.5 gallons for 10 lbs of laundry!
