It wont use near as much water as a toploader...probably about like a Bendix. |

The spin dryer is older than the washer. The washer is from around the early seventies, it has the electric door opener.
Here is a link to the 1973 Miele brochure, the last year the 412S was available. As you can see in the specifications it used 165 liters for 4.5kg of laundry. That is 43.5 gallons for 10 lbs of laundry! www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/T... |
