I sure didn't know Hoover ever made a washer in this color. It looks like a match to Whirlpool "Edged Sapphire Blue", or Kenmore "Shaded Slate". A very short run color in '67-'68. |

On this model.
As aptly spotted above the spigot is just to eliminate using the hose to fill tub or otherwise direct water (back to tub or drain). These units would have been the "next generation" step from my metal and aluminum tub model. Other than the poly tub, addition of the spigot and a few other details the machine is basically the same as previous Hoover TTs sold in USA. You can tell by the two control knobs which are the same as older Hoovers. |
