Coppertone Kenmores are home!! Washer is a large capacity, with a speckled tub and Dual-Action agitator. Chrome control panel is cool, but is broken at one end due to being dropped during loading (I wasn't there when THAT happened), and the cycle markings are scratched off around most of the dial. Matching dryer is in good shape, but I plugged it in (was stored outside under a tarp) and a small amount water came out the exhaust port.

Although seller description said they were ready for use, both will definitely need a good cleaning and thorough checking-out before going into the laundry room.

The control panel issue has me worried, however. Does anyone have an extra (if you have chrome, that will be great, but even black will do) control panel with an 8-prong connection to the machine?

Email me if you do.

Forgot to mention that this set is from 1975, with a self-cleaning lint filter on the washer. Considering the console layout I'm surprised it isn't a manual-clean tub-mounted type. When I examine the mechanism, I'll check to see if it's the side-mount or "pancake" type.

Is the dryer matching capacity?
