Ralph(rp2813) was looking for a GE Combo, but not at $260. If this is a prior posting, let me know and I'll delete.

That Combination is a '57 model, first year for GE's "Straight-Line Design" styling program.
The basic design soldiered on until 1971, with a lot of detail changes, primarily to the exterior trim and interior fittings. Surviving units have usually had a compressor replacement, because the originals tended to give up the ghost after a few years. My mom used her '58 for thirty years, though she complained for years about the expense of the compressor job. |
