My only regret is it's a 9 day old ad - for anyone interested:

Ad: " Maytag Washer and Dryer pair in excellent condition with owner's manuals. Includes new dryer power cord and water supply hoses for washer. $200.00 cash."

the washer has that "AUTOMATIC" button to the right of the center control dial. so, i am guessing this is a "single-speed" washer. gonna take a guess here, & let's see if i get it right. is this an A408??? or would it be A407??

You go girl!

It has four water levels so you may be onto something with that guess.

ha ha ha....

i'm learning to spot that "AUTOMATIC" button now. but i still don't have all the model numbers down. and i did notice the 4 water level buttons. but to know which model numbers were standard capacity & which were ex-large capacity, that i can't figure out. and another thing, the "triple" button to the right of the center dial, where the "AUTOMATIC" button is on this one, i still don't know the model numbers for that one either!!

ha ha.....

;oD

i think this is an A308??? cause this has the 4 water level buttons for "ex-large" capacity. the A108 is a standard capacity washer.

i just seen this on an older thread with the "features" chart.

i need to bookmark that page!!! so i can reference it later on. but i think it is only for the later 1970's "sunglow" control panel models.
