Should be either an LDE/I-5800 or LDE/I-7800.  I think 5800, so higher models at the time were the 7800, 8800, and 9800.

5800 is standard capacity, 5-temp variable thermostat, Reg & Perm Press thermostatic auto-dry cycles, and timed.

7800 is super-capacity with the "bump-outs" on the rear bulkhead and drum ... and I think had "Supreme" on the console which this one does not.

My mothers 1979 Whirlpool Dryer Model LFI7801 was an Imperial Seventy model not a Supreme….did they change the model name for the 7800 series between the LD and LF series?….PAT COFFEY

As I recall, yes.  LF series was the first electronic control machine, which was called the "Solid State Mark Series."  The 2nd-in-line 8800 units were dropped, which put the 7800 2nd-in-line so it became the Imperial.
