They are old, but they do work, and they match."

Evidently someone in the town of Cumming Georgia doesn't no what the term of "MATCH" means when it comes to major appliances.

Well, they are both green and, believe me, in the used appliance marketplace where ads are posted by amateurs who know little, if anything, about appliances, this use of the term "matched" is about all you can expect.

Bad Terms...

The following terms mean everything and nothing in the used marketplace.

1) Matched
2) Stackable
3) Set
4) Combo
5) anything referring to a machine's age.

Why they don't match

whirlykenmore78's profile picture
1. The washer is WP and the dryer is GE.
2. The consoles look NOTHING alike.
3. The washer is of much better quality than the dryer.

You have to look long and hard to find dryers more durable than GE dryers. They do not have the seal problems found in brands that use two piece drums. Their performance is far better than many and they generally rank in the top few brands when tested by CU. GE dryers kept a porcelain drum longer than other brands, too, even if the last few years saw some drums that were not totally round.
