That fridge might be a Whirlpool.  The handles look very similar to the '70 Whirlpool I had until the '57 Combination came along.

 

I can vouch for the capability and longevity of Whirlpools from this period.  Mine had adjustable split shelves and lived in garages that could reach 100 degrees or more on the hottest summer days.  I purchased it for $100 in 1990.  I passed it on to Dave's daughter and son-in-law who had it for a few years, but last year when they bought a house it came with a '90s KA fridge that's much more energy efficient, so they made that one their garage fridge and gave the Whirly away.  I presume it's still cooling perfectly for someone else now.
