Hi Paul
I've not even had the back off my 756 so not much help but it sounds like it could be the suspension. I've not been able to use my machine as it was too heavy to manoeuvre to the kitchen and it's now in storage until I move. I'm not even aware of any service information floating about for these machines from earlier posts but if some does turn up I'd be up for a copy. Hope you get it sorted Steve | ||

Miele W731 Hi Louis. Yes the drum has hit the glass a bit. You can also bounce the outer tub as there seems to be a lot of play. Its going to be a pain to replace as the machine is very heavy to move. Paul | ||

Miele w731 Hi I have been looking on line to find the shock absorbers. To buy miele shock absorbers are very expensive. Ebay have them on but not genuine part. If I can buy the parts for a reasonable price then I Will be happy. Paul | ||

Miele W731 Well I managed to buy the shock absorbers off ebay for £39.99. I fitted them this morning and the machine is running great. Very smooth and quiet. For a machine from 1986 she is looking like new and has quick wash cycles. Very happy now Paul | ||
