Hi Everybody,
I need some help please. Mom's DW needs replacement racks. It's a MT that's 16 yrs. old. It's still mechanically sound and cleans well. Checked MT's site and to replace the upper and lower rack plus the bowl tine set would be over $400. Does anyone have a more economical approach to this? Should she be looking for a another DW? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the info-
model#- MDB5000AWB
serial#- 10246550SM

Thanks for everything gang and as always-

Have a Great Day!
Rick

There are many sources for parts.  Shop them all for best price.  I've found that PartsDr.com, PartsTap.com, and ApplianceZone.com have been the lowest for a while.  Also consider eBay ... and helpful peeps here may come up with good "pre-owned" specimens.

I will contact my friend who is a Repairman tomorrow and see if he has any. If he does his shop is right here in Burnsville and I could grab them while you figure out how you want to ship them.
1 Question, Do you need the Jet Tower as well?

P.S. Combo52 John LeFever might have them as well. His shop is much closer to you. He's in Beltsville.

I talked to Mark:

He does not have the racks. Your best bet would be ALCO Appliance in Beltsville. It is owned by Combo52/John LeFever.
