Quite a nice set-up - cooktop, range hood with remote controls, P-7 wall oven! Never been uncrated.

Greenville, SC, $400

The range hood

Without pulling any catalogs, I would guess late 1960's, based on the appearance of the oven primarily.

It could be anywhere between 1969 and 1972; those models didn't change much during that period. The hood might indicate late sixties because at some point they eliminated the buttons and replaced them with dials.

Even in Dead Leprechaun Green, these are schweet!

The cooktop is a JP 86, with the matching, mandatory JV 66 hood. This is the only cooktop GE made at the time with Sensi-Temp; the knob control on the hood is to activate that feature. These units are shown in both the '71 and '72 full-line catalogs.

The oven is a JK 19 27-inch wall oven with P*7, the electric meat thermometer and the rotisserie. The only model above this one was the JK 29, with two P*7 ovens.

It would be very interesting to find out why someone spent so much money on TOL units in a then-current fashion color and then never installed them.

BTW, we often have issue with the asking price on Shopper's Square items. These are worth the money. Just getting a JK 19 with its rotisserie parts and meat probe is quite the find!

Hans, finding used white panels for these new appliances shouldn't be that hard! The vent hood could still be repainted...

Our home in San Jose had these exact same appliances except the oven was a double. The house was built in 1970. I loved the oven and miss the Foodmatic. One day I'll cut a hole and install the one I have now.
