Hi Guys,

Can any of you help me?: I picked up a 1984 Maytag A210 for $50.00 which is still in great mechanical order BUT...the control panel has had it. Maytag spares (in OZ) have told me they are NLA even from the states.

Do any of you guys know who might still have one in stock somewhere or even a 2nd hand one still in decent condition?? and how much it would be to get here?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Leon

Might have a A212. Not sure what the difference is. If you are interested let me know. I will look in my warehouse. If you can post a photo of your panel it may help. Also may have A382,A482,A510,A512.

I've got this one from a model LA612. You could use the entire control panel. This of course is 110v 60 cycle. Not sure what voltage you require there. If you know what you are doing you could possibly use your timer on this control panel if your voltage requirements are different than here. Shipping cost would probably be pretty expensive for the whole panel rather than just the face piece.

Hi Greg,

That control panel looks in great condition, but i don't think i'll be able to use it at this stage. I can still get parts for "12 series control panels and timers here in Oz and will go down that way as a last resort. Ive ordered a fascia panel from "partselect.com", but got a feeling i may not get it, considering it's a "special order" and Maytag don't make that panel anymore.

Again, thanks for looking.

Leon

Hi Greg,

Just sent the same message to your email addy...not sure what you'll check first.

I was just wondering if you would consider selling me the fascia panel of the A612 as a last resort? I'm still waiting to hear back from the parts place in the states, but ive got a feeling i won't get it and i just found out today that many of those fascia panels are no longer available.

Having looked at the fascia of the 612, i think i could retro fit it to the A210 i have, it just means i would have to miss a button or 2 or cut the panel.

Just let me know what you think.

Again, thanks for looking for me,its appreciated.

Cheers
Leon
