Hey Washing Machine/Laundry Lover's.

It's been a while since I've posted a thread, as I do hope everyone is well.
Anyhow, these last few days I've been daydreaming of how I would love to have the matching set of the Hotpoint "New Generation" machines in my kitchen.

As a few of you know I grew up with the 95620 washing machine in my parents house, my eldest brother had the exact same machine and one of my aunties had the almond version (See Picture below). But no one had the matching dryer.

They don't make machines like them anymore, as during the 70s & 80s, Hotpoint's Washing Machines & Dryers had character, style and loved everything about them, especially the "New Generation" series.

So I decided with your help if we can build a better profile for these series of machines and hopefully it will be something we can all enjoy by reliving these fab machines. (Hopefully some of you may have found some more along the way)

Thanks for reading,
Hass.

I love your vids on YouTube have subscribed
I love new generation machines too especially the microtronic from 1983
My nan had a 1989 9506 for donkey's years and mum had a microtronic from 1985
Shame persil automatic is not the market leader anymore although I use persil color powder for coloureds but you need so much to get some bubbles in the drum

Thanks, MatthewJohnPerry. Glad you like the video's. I have tons more, but haven't had the time to upload them yet. Plus more editing to do too. I'm always on the look out for more Hotpoint adverts, I'm hoping there are more somewhere.

On a slight different note, who's the leading brand for detergents these days...?

Mike, of course!! I totally forgot about Paul's awesome thread. Thanks for providing me the link, as I shall be going through it.
