The downstairs laundry in our new place had a tired old BOL GE dryer that gave up the ghost and a Maytag Dependable Care washer that although worked was starting to rust out. I decided to replace them both with Speed Queen - after the many glowing reviews here. I have to say after the first few loads they work like champs! Good solid workhorses that do exactly what they are designed to!

The new Speed Queens came from Atlantic Appliance - we've been buying there for almost 20 years now. Great place!

Love Atlantic!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased all my applainces there after the originals in the home went. They were recommended by friends who live in Mt Kisco. I am in Danbury CT. I bought a SQ FL stacked set there and they earned their pay that day getting it in. It was so heavy and put in tight quarters.Long story short it was a snowy day. They forgot to test the washer and remove the shipping bracket. Connected the gas dryer ok. I was horrified when I turned the washer on and it rock and rolled and clanged and banged! I called and they asked if the bracket was removed. It had not been. And so I removed it.
At that time the Maytag sign in the window was not lit up. I asked why and the owner said "NO MORE MAYTAGS" (sorry Maytag friends)
Long story short. I would def and have gone back to Atlantic. Seems they have a long standing good reputation.
I love my SQ'S But I do miss my Westinghouse stacked set bad!! I stupidly scraped it for a rotten door gasket.
Speaking of Queens ..........my vacumn is Filter Queen. Both "Queens" have made for some catty jokes when the guys come over!!! LOL
