The console is installed and looks great...now to hook up the console light. I need to find out what ballast works with this as it did not come with the console, and how to wire it so it goes on with the timer. In my infinite wisdom I did not save the wiring diagram from the 808 console!!

Any ballast for a 24" 20 watt fluorescent lamp will work.  You will also need an FS-2 fluorescent starter.  Both can be had at Home Depot or any hardware store for less than $10.

I've attached the 808 wiring digram which may or not be of help.  It will at least give you a way to trace the correct current path from the ballast, starter, tube and to the neutral.

Obviously for your dryer, you would connect the neutral from the tube to the neutral line.  I would then piggy-back the hot line from the ballast onto the motor run circuit.
