Console Light Addition

Looks great Jerry, now you have the beauty of an 808 MT dryer with the reliability of a simple timer machine. You could use the unused buttons as a light switch so you could easily have the light on when the dryer is not.

One other modification that I made on my DE750 MT dryer was to cut the metal brackets that hold the florescent bulb sockets and remount them, doing this allowed me to install a longer bulb for more complete and even panel illumination.

Nice job Jerry. I love the look of
flourescent backlights on any appliance.
I think it really dresses them up.

Enjoy :)

This is what I want to do to my Maytag DE306, most difficult thing to find will be an 808 control panel but will end up finding one, one day in the future though. Once I find/obtain a Maytag 808 control panel, I will finally at last have a Maytag A806 set.
