I'm not one to ask "Should I Buy This?" because I think if one is interested in something, they should consider it and have the backbone to decide for themselves. However, I found something I believe could be a real find (if the reserve price is right) and it's right up my alley, and I would value some opinions of my fellow forum members. Unfortunately The washer is not available (I asked the seller already), it bit the dust back in the 80's. You just never know if a mate might be found, in which case, I will have a pair of dream machines. For the time being, She can be mated with my Maytag.

The control panel

So, Does anyone have any Idea what these are worth? Can parts be found? Please share your thoughts!

Sorry, Not in my plans. I do have relatives in Everett (Sp). My aunt does occasionally drive there. If I hear she is going there soon, I will let you know.

Turns out that I bid more than the reserve price, but in order for the reserve to be "Met", another bidder had to bid against me. Here's a console shot.

Hi Jason, congratulations! You will like this dryer, the lower air-flow makes for nice soft clothes.

And my favorite:

The drum shot, I stuck my LED lantern inside. The dryers were just as cool inside as they were outside.

Re: WOW!!!

Hey! Jason, your latest find looks like just like you took it right out of the Box, except for a little Cabinet Cleaning needed. It is too bad that the Washer wasn't available as well, but you never know hopefully you will have one show up sometime later on this year and it will be in Turquoise to perfectly Match your Dryer.

Congratulations on your new "TOY" and addition to our Vintage Appliance Collections.

Peace and Fun Times of Drying with a Frigidaire, Steve

Congrats on the new dryer - now you just need that matching washer from Mineapolis and you'll have a complete Frigidaire laundry!

This dryer looks like it's in very good shape. Have you used it yet? One of the best temp-controlled auto-dry machines I've used.

SactoTeddyBear,
I have the matching washer. I already emailed jason so he knows I have it. Distance is the eternal problem. Anyone going out to Washington State from Minnesota with a vehicle large enough to carry a washer would, I'm sure, make him a very happy man.

Jason, as the phrase "good Karma" is definitely coming around. The matching washer is today's POD!!!, albeit in yellow.

Hi Jason, I'll will be staying in the Capital Hill section of Seattle for a couple of days, then I'm heading up to Vancouver to see Eddy. My work schedule has been tight, but they let me go later on this week and early next week, YAY.

Robert, Too bad they didn't make you drive your pickup there.

Love the drum

I grew up in a Frigidaire house as my dad worked for GM. I love the old frigidaire drums. Both my mom and grandma had frigidaires of the same era.

Congrats on such a great dryer!

Jim
