that one is a mother board, located inside the control panel.....

this is a motor control board, found in the lower right hand bottom of the machine....it should look like this, but there are a few different ones with different plugs...

Jerry, whats the part number on your motor control board?....

Be specific. If i remember right there were a few different ones. 2 i remember off the top of my head. They are not interchangeable.

Scott's correct...there are several for the 5500 series alone....I should know, different motors as well.....

the only way most were interchangeable was to change the motor and board together, almost as a matched set...

although I was always partial to the "revved up" jet sound of the 3000/4000 series motor....a very quiet machine until the final spin, THAT got everyones attention!

The machine control board that is pictured in reply #1 is not a good board. You can see the famous R11 is burnt out. The door won't lock so the machine will not spin. Someone is trying to sell a bad board for $69.

Agreed!

That board is toast. As a fellow seller, I sent a courtesy message to him as he honestly may not know. Lord knows I've seen a few of those shot R-11's in my time...

That board is from a Neptune Super Stack. He also has a valid board listed that would be a great item for all you MAH4000 owners as long as it's as good as it looks and currently at a very reasonable price...

repair-man - I'm GLAD I posted the wrong board - maybe someone will see this thread and think twice....always impressed by what you and others can spot right off.

Hope that moparwash can get the needed part, reasonably.

I'm done.

The seller messages me back and thanked me for the heads up. He said he looked closer and saw the R-11 burned and removed the listing. So all ended well...
