This is a "budget" P*7 40-incher, and like Hans, I haven't seen one before. This style is well-known to exist in a 30-inch version, but GE didn't put the 40-inchers into its later catalogs. The presence of the second oven is the really unexpected touch.

Definitely an interesting range. The lack of Sensi-Temp and rotary controls would take some getting used to for me (listen to me - a few months with Sensi-Temp and already I'm spoiled rotten!), but it's definitely a worthwhile unit.

I think this one is later than mid-'60s.

The clue is the knob on the oven door latch lever - it's the later "arrowhead" style, not the round ball used through at least '66.

This is the version I'm more familiar with - the 30-inch iteration. This was one of the many GE ranges I looked at on CL before Tim polkanut turned up the J 370 I have now:
