Phil:

If you'll look at the photos closely, you'll see that the upper oven door is a microwave door, not a conventional oven door. These were the Condo Dweller's Delight, because you could have a microwave in a kitchen with very limited counter space.

This looks to be a cool microwave/oven combination, but wasn't the Versatronic name used on the range that had a combination conventional/microwave oven below and a conventional oven above, in other words like the 'standard' Americana high/low range, but that the lower oven was the combination cooking oven?

Ok, so it's not, as I first thought, a Versatronic - but still cool and a CDD (combo dweller's delight) - yep, it sure would be nice to have that in an aparttment or condo, but probably would never see it in most apartments.

My sister had this range in a townhouse she bought in 1978, located near the Galleria.
