You cannot beat the asking price of $100/obo. If you are local, it's probably in your interest to call about this. People offer these to me all the time and I have zero room for any more....SAVE THIS FLAIR, someone...PLEASE! It's shown installed in what looks like a "snowbird" residence. If you're lucky, the pedestal is stored somewhere...so ask about it.

Justin,
I know what ya mean. When I had a *real* house with a garage....bringing stuff home wasn't a problem. Bought a condo and now I live with all my finds standing in every room but the bathrooms. Not good. And there's SO much great vintage in Phoenix--just have to make ourselves say "no" more often than we want when a good thing comes by.... |

I still bring things home from time to time. Just to hear my partner say "Where are we going to put that?" I used to say "I'll find a place." Now I don't even say that. I know I won't be able to find a place. I did however pick up a 1977 Zenith 16" b/w TV this weekend. Works and has all the original paperwork. |

I'm in the same boat. I don't say anything anymore either. It just comes home and I donate something else to even things out! Cool deal on the TV, though! Hope you'll drop some pics our way--BTW...I am on the hunt for an early-mid 60s washing machine...(dryer not required...but I would take a set). My LG washer died (typical of digital stuff...) so am hoping for a Frigidaire Custom Imperial to match my fridge (turquoise)...got anything?? I'm so done with new appliances...

Had a couple neighbors with Flairs, both gone now (Flairs & neighbors). One sat on a white metal base, and the other sat on a cabinet that matched the others in the kitchen. I never cared much for that style range, and would only want the model that used the standard 30" range as the base. |

I would definitely KILL for one of those flairs. But of course, it's always far... And right now I can't afford other Kevin's trip and also I doubt he'd drive that far. |

Lol, I showed darryl. He was like... ok, a travel to Arizona and also a time travel. I just realized it was "just a few" years ago. |

Hi Jean, These Hi-Oven ranges were installed on either a 30 or 40" wide base cabinet that was about 6" shorter than the other base cabinets that were typically used inn a kitchen.
Back in the early 60s when these ranges were fairly common I guess that these shorter base cabinets were fairly common as well with companies that built kitchen cabinets.

Your crowded condo is music to my ears. While not "appliances", my home is in the same condition. 2 console stereos on piano dollies in my bedroom, a large Barzilay 3-piece audio cabinet tucked around my kitchen island and a 5th pinball delivered from Dallas 4 years ago that never made it past the middle of my dining room. The pinball room is already on overload. At least I'm not alone with my "condition." |
