I ordered this transmission while in the process of trying to repair my 1-18 years ago. I had to go through a friend in the business to order it as it seems I couldn't do it as a "civilian".
Anyway, it turned out not to be the transmission that was needed, so it's been sitting in it's box here for years.
If you know what it is and need it....make me an offer! I seem to remember paying something crazy like $350 when I ordered it, but that's irrelevant now, isn't it? :)
And if you don't need it...and know what it's for, I'd appreciate that bit of info greatly.
thanks

I think this is the exact same transmission I have right now in my garage. I am moving and it will be tossed soon. Not much of a demand for it. Wasn't westinghouse and Frigidaire one and the same or am I wrong?

That tranny is for a true Westinghouse top load washer.

Oh boy....that doesn't sound good. So maybe in 50 years or so, it might be worth more than it is as scrap metal? :)

I have a 1977 Westy toploader.  Is this the tranny it would take?

Okay...somebody make me an offer I can't refuse on this thing. I'm sorry I have no snakes to include with this, however...but in lieu of that... I could probably ask my cat to catch a small lizard and put it in the box before I ship it if you like.

PS...my girlfriend is suddenly fascinated with this thing since I took it out of the box. She asked if the batteries for it were still available. HELP!
