I've seen modern appliances that are made to resemble antiques but this is kind of weird looking. It reminds me of the bottom half of a wood burning stove. $150, San Fernando Valley

Very odd, but I could see this in a turn of the century house I guess.

I'm sorry, i live in a home on the historic registry. That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

Wretched.

Molded plastic covers for BOL appliances from the likes of GE,  Maytag and WCI (at the time).

It looks like part of the "Paula Deen Signature Collection"...I'm sure the matching refrigerator was even worse.

Ugly Oven

I don't know who is responsible for putting the ugly front on it but the oven is a Magic-Chef- Maytag and these weren't great ovens.

It probably dates from 1998-2008.

Jenn-Air, Maytag, Amana, and Magic Chef all came out of the MC plant, as a service professional when I look at an appliance the real maker always shows through.

I will never be able to look at a Norge-Tag and not think Norge, even though Maytag made many changes [ some good, some not so good ] it is amazing how little they strayed from Norges orignal design ideas.

Does it remind anyone else of those nasty "Continental" hoods and engine lids (with the spare tire) that JC Whitney used to sell for VW Beetles?

Those were disgusting too.

I ever saw that was more horrifyingly designed than that was this:

And let's also not forget the Rolls Royce front ends for the Beetle too. My god, I haven't seen not a one of those in at least 30 years. Thank goodness. They were truly awful.
