hey everyone just uploaded a video of my Quartz in action. wash and rinse/spin cycle. Have a look. It's more noisy than normal because it's in my conservatory which amplifies the sound and slightly off balance on the floor. Great fun!
Cheers
Steven

1300 Spin

Hi Steven

Had forgotten what the 1300 spin sounds like, its not much quieter under the cabinets etc...

For users who dont know this machine you can open the door as soon as the drum has stopped or there is no water in the drum...you simply touch the door switch and it sets off a door solenoid with a loud click and the door pops open.

What was the problem with it blowing the fuses??

Mike

WEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that's what a front loader supposed to sound like. Loud, high-pitched screech during spin, and instant jump up to spin.

Is that 1300rpm?

spin

yeah 1300 spin its 600/1000/1300 in the three stages of the video.

I haven't looked at the wiring yet Mike due to lack of time but will sort it. its not urgent. I've got some new laminated Hotpoint original brushes to fit too, they came this morning. 99p on ebay brand new. What a bargain. I can't even buy them from the wholesalers for that.

Adam, yeah reminded me of a Hotpoint when i first heard its spin. I've added u to msn mate if your on sometime.
I'll add another video soon of the 2nd rinse with a differnt spin sequence. Will also be adding my Thompson twin tub wash action as well to my page for those that are interested in that.
Cheers
