I would jump on that in a heartbeat if it were closer.  At $50 it's an absolute steal! cool

And there's a piece of that Bridgeport cookware on the stove.

I wonder how happy mealtimes were in that household in those years.

Only members on here could identify the cookware brand in an ad like that.

Tom, were you refering to mealtimes in the Crosby household?

I wonder if that was an actual rendering of the Crosby kitchen.  Something's amiss the way the counter continues past the refrigerator.

I can see how in the Crosby configuration this particular range makes sense, but I prefer counter space on at least one side of my stove and ideally both, so I'd probably be cursing the person who designed this particular cooking center if I had to use one for any length of time.  That might be why the seller can't find any takers.  It suggests a rather claustrophobic cooking experience.

It would be worth my while getting an estimate on having it shipped here to Hawaii.I'm redoing the back where there is enough room for my 3 LG sets, stacked,a bottom mount amana and an old seat from a mini van. Here, the electricity is $.49/KWH!!!! Our average monthly electric bill is $600+!!! There are five of us including two, teenagers with bottomless pitts for stomachs. Even though I have induction burners and a microwave to help save, it still gets expensive. I can convert this to L.P.gas and, after a good cleaning and some New Finish to protect it from the salt water air here,it would fit perfect out back. It's all covered with a tin roof and great outdoor ventilation. I still have an old set of Club aluminum cookware in turquoise and three different size Pyrex glass percolators. I can get some nice cabinetry outthere too. It would look so cool having all the windows in a straight line!!!

On the one hand your point about the lack of space on either side of the range makes good sense...on the other hand I'd say picky, picky, picky :-)

RE Salt air..

A friend of mine used to buy and re sell Hammond organs, He called me one day and had me come look at a beautiful cherry B-3, The odd thing about it was it had a coating of clear varnish on all the inside parts...inside the back was the dealers sticker from Hawaii, and a sticker from the factory that said.."Especially equipped for tropical/humid conditions!! The lady he got it from bought in in Hawaii and brought it back with her...147 Leslie in matching Cherry finish and all!!It was really sharp...1962.
