I don't find many nice, older kitchenaids - would this be near the TOL?

Not TOL.  Kinda upper-BOL.  The washer has only 3 temp and 3 water level selections.

I have a 760 pair from what should be the same vintage.  My washer (tagged as a Superba, although not fully TOL) has 4 temps and variable water level.  The dryer has 4 temps (air is on the timer).

A TOL mechanical-control washer (860) would have 5 temps, variable water level, and probably an extra rinse selector.
