I posted about repairing this dishwasher several months ago and I got it working and it actually does work great but we bought a new dishwasher. I know a few people said they might want it, so I came here to see who wanted to buy it before posting it anywhere else....

Oh yeah, and it sounds like you have a car wash running in your kitchen, but the dishes come out clean and dry!

I'd still like to have it. Please let me know what you want for it.

Interesting; I knew of the Americana stove and fridge, but never knew they sold a matching dishwasher! Cool!

The Americana (later the Versatronic) was the TOL dishwasher, quite expensive. It was unusual for a TOL dishwasher of the time in that it had all-rotary controls - most brands had rows of pushbuttons.

Below is a pic of the controls - the far left knob is for dry time, the center knob is the cycle selector and the far right knob is for the amount of wash time.

These are rare dishwashers today.

That looks like an awesome dishwasher; I'll have to keep my eyes peeled locally. The flipping bug has struck here and plenty of good machines and appliances are being tossed on a frequent basis.

I follow the housing market here and have seen near time capsule houses pop up and then sell, only to appear again 6 months later sporting the latest from Home Depot.

I'm actually scared that this new samsung dishwasher isn't going to dry like this thing.

Sorry it took so long to respond, remodeling this money pit is a never ending battle.
