With our house we inherited some vintage appliances that are superficially perfect. Unfortunately some inside failures have cropped up with our regular use.

Our waste king dishwasher overflows out the door seals during the rinse cycle. We've had a tech here to confirm issue but he couldn't help as they can't warranty any work that involves jimmying things.

He felt there was a issue with a cam in the timer. Water pumps in longer than on the other wash cycles. On other cycles it turns of. On rinse cycle it keeps inflowing, even long after the pump starts moving water through the arms.

So it doesn't seem that I can find a replacement timer. Does anyone have any experience fixing a specific cam in a timer like this? I haven't pulled it out and taken it apart yet.

Does the machine drain completely after every water change?  At the end of the cycle?  You shouldn't see much, if any water in the bottom of the tank around the pump housing after the machine has drained.

Overflowing WK DW

Good point Greg, as many times the DW is not draining all the water during each drain period and toward the end of the cycle you have too much water and they can start to leak. Is the timer actually filling too long in the last rinse, you would need to time each fill period, and while it is possible for a timer to fail this way it is VERY unusual so I would rule out several other possibilities before looking for a new timer.
