Those are the exact same models as mine. 30 years old and still run like new without 1 cent of repairs. Price seems a little steep as my set new was a little over $1000.

i can't tell why these haven't sold yet???
guessing here but, would it be cuz they sit separately towards the top of the cabinets, like they are not leveled??

Just my opinion

pulltostart's profile picture

But first off, they're located somewhere in East H*ll, GA somewhere near Athens; they're really nothing special model-wise; they're 30+ years old with paint spatters on the consoles, and they want six-hundred and fifty-eight dollars for the pair (and just where-the-heck did they come up with that number anyway)???  They don't even allow a "Best Offer", just buy it now.

Again, just my opinion.

I saw these on CL a few weeks back. I think they wanted 350 for the set back then.
These are at a secondly hand store not far from here.

I would consider 350 "aggressive" pricing, but 658 is just ridiculous, even on Ebay.

They are 30 years old, look nice and cleaned up. But $150 for the pair is a bargain. Because you can always keep them going with all the help here. Just dont tell the seller you are on AW or they will probably want more....Lol.

$658.00 might be the "pay off" on the shiny new frontload set with pedestals.

$658 -- and they're not even almond!

Mine are almond and I wished they were white.

Those are so similar to what my parents had when I was a kid.  They were still going strong in 1996 when we built a new house and moved.  I remember my dad fixing the safety lid switch and replacing the belts, but I think that's about it.  Our washer was a suds-saver though (which I do remember my mom using from time to time), and it was connected to a DuraTub.  I'm pretty sure that our dryer didn't have the "auto dry" or "delicate" setting, though - only one (start) button.  And our dryer was gas.  Boy those bring back memories!  They do look to be in nice shape, but I agree, not worth what they are asking.

Not Sold Yet

Looking at the sellers other auctions it is evident they are somewhat clueless in what the value of major appliances second hand are worth.

The seller has a wide assortment of items for sale and appears to be a retail business in Bogart.
