I think it's in Madea's Family Reunion where she has a slightly newer Admiral in her house. It's the one that has the surface unit controls with a dial below and slightly to the side of a tube and a red indicator runs up the tube to show the heat setting. Admiral was one of the ranges that was late to go to sealed rod broil elements in the oven. There was nothing wrong with the open coil broil elements, but it did make cleaning the broiler reflector more complicated, if you were inclined to do so.
