So the detergent has now got out of the way!! YAY!! I might be switching back to powder in a while though. But, now when ever i fill a glass with water, bubbles begin to form at the sides. Yes i do use finish jetdry and i have the rinse aid knob set to 1 (Minimum setting). Anyone else have this issue?

if you're currently using a detergent that's a 3-n-1 that has a rinse aid built into it you may possibly try not using the jet dry and see if that clears up your issue.
I only use the Finish Quantum pacs and put nothing in the rinse-aid dispenser and I don't have any problems with my glassware.

At my work we use:

whirlykenmore78's profile picture
Solid Power XL detergent and Rinse Dry rinse aid from Ecolab in our dishmachine. The latter does cause foaming in the dishmachine wash tank and on some washed items. However I believe that much of the suds come from pre-washing with Ecolab Solitaire and the trays not being rinsed before washing in the dishmachine.
Some inmates think that the bubbles when they fill a water glass are residual detergent and not rinse aid. I have to explain that DW detergent does not foam up and this is a surfactant to help the dishes dry.

Hmm..The strange part is that on our old maytag jetclean dishwasher we did not even use the gel pacs or jet dry. We used cascade dishwasher powder and there were still bubbles would form when you filled a glass with water.
