On my way to buy another refrigerator today, I came across this at a Goodwill I was passing. Cannot remember the last time I ever saw one of these....pardon the bad cell phone pics, was in a rush.
The bluish marks you see near the front edge are not marks...reflection of my jeans in the faux chrome tape trim band!!! Should have bought this at its princely price of $24.95 Can ya believe it???? TOOOO cheap. And no...there was no matching washer, of course. |

Those are great dryers. They dry clothes to perfection each and every time. That certainly would be a steal for anyone looking for a dryer. I'd pop the covers and vacuum it out before using however. |

BTW, this is the first time I have seen one of those in white. Usually they are black colored. |

These kenmores aren't bad at all in white thanks to the black control panel, I think. It's cool that they have a little vestigial light source above the control panel...but a real 60s style Lady Kenmore panel lite would have been way more effective! I have black machines here at home....love how they take up no visual space compared to white...but a helluva dusty mess in this city. EVERYTHING shows on them.

This is one of the greatest dryer ever built, it's a work horse and runs very well in my house! The only disadvantage is the Wrinkle Gaurd that is auto selected for every load which can be shut off when selecting a cycle. I turn it off as much as possible to save electric. Stock photo with Thomas,

Larry, no doubt that is a favorite place for Thomas to perch, as it is warm when the dryer is running, and he can look out the window. |

I just serviced one of those today. Needed gas coils, that are not of the normal type. |
