Phil, you gotta eat the bad food to appreciate the good food. :-)

It's really interesting that this is such a BOL machine that you don't even get the option of a hot wash!

YEP- THEY'RE KENMORE'S

No hot water-
you could cheat and turn off the cold water to the machine while it's filling during the wash cycle at the 14 or 12 mark. I don't think this machine is equipped with ATC. and once it starts washing just turn the cold water back on.

For some that would be a P.I.A. but hey you get what you pay for. Basic is basic and that's pretty much it.

it's the modern one-dial-wonder......it's a wonder you get any temp select at all!...

may not be for everyone, but for some, to have a washer at home, it could be a blessing!....even if it is this plain machine....never judge until you walk in someone's shoes....

It was sold at Sears, but it could be a Capri if not a Kenmore. I think there was one other name they used for the really cheap stuff they were too embarrassed to put the Kenmore name on.
