Hopefully this isn't a duplicate posting.  White Maytags in Minneapolis.  Only saying they're available, not saying they're cheap...........

3 water levels and the clear plastic timer knob? I thought they went to 4 water levels before they changed the knobs.  Does it have the Permanent Press cycle? I can't make it on the picture.

And buttons!  Except on the dryer, where you don't want them.

Three water levels wouldn't stop me.  The 4th level is just another selection option for a partial load and is more of a gimmick.

That washer definitely has a Permanent Press cycle.

I would own that pair if they were near me and if that was a DG806, and if they were reasonably priced.

I went and saw the set a couple weeks ago... The dryer has a big scratch on the front that has been "fixed" with touch-up paint...and the washer's paint wasn't great, either. The control panels are in pretty nice shape, though. He was firm on the price at that time, and had these listed about a year ago, too. Nice guy, but a "little" out of touch with the reality of what they're worth, given their condition.

I immediately noticed the 3-button water level switch too. Dollars to doughnuts the original 4-level  LARGE capacity switch got changed out to a 3-level STANDARD capacity switch by an unscrupulous repairman at some point. Most likely because it was the switch they had in the truck! I have seen this happen more than once...
