That's ambitious pricing...

For sure. But I'm diggin' on that DW ALOT! I'm guessing anywhere between '83 and '87. Seems like everyone was rushing to do these about that time. GE Potscrubber 2800/2500, KA Selectra, etc.

It belongs in my kitchen.

ALL my appliances are chrome or aluminum-framed black panel. DW, compactor, fridge and range. I always loved this look. To me it doesn't scream '80s glam...but it does to a lot of others.

I'd say that DW is early mid 80's but not absolutely sure. That clothes washer is looking rough along it's front upper right corner. I wonder what's causing all that rust.

I still say they are High as...

hell if they think $295 isn't an awfully insulting price for this lot.

I always wonder, too - how does this area of rust occur - some of the experienced people would probably know, they've seen it all. Did it start with an overflow and /or spinning water out of the tub? I'm just guessing, wildly.

Dishwasher is one of the last D&M produced.

Rust on DD washer Cabinet

Is from the bleach dispenser, it either is clogged or bleach was added carelessly.

That KM D&M DW had to be the last gasp for a high end D&M with the KM name on it, Sears wisely got rid of the junky D&M built DWs when WP started building most of their DWs in 1984. Other than an interesting curiously the DW isn't worth moving or installing if you actually need a DW.

Warring if anyone is going to move, work on or install this DW be sure to ware protective Kevlar Gloves to protect your hands from all the sharp metal.
