Yeah, it is. I was on the phone with John combo 52 about my J 757 last night. That ad came up during the conversation, and we both agreed with you - that is one schweet stove.
Unfortunately, my kitty friend Marty loves to pounce up on top of the J 370 already. That's a rotary-control range, so he does no harm. But on a range with the PyroKitty™ buttons, he'd have the house in ashes in record time. John mentioned that someone he knows has one of these with the PyroKitty™ feature, and who has had stainless-steel covers made for the buttons. That makes them safe from the depredations of kee-kats, and keeps them clean while frying. If one of those ranges turned up here locally in great shape at a reasonable price, I could see myself paying a visit to the local sheet-metal shop close to the old Rath plant. |

Yes, but you'd have to be absolutely scrupulous about leaving anything in any proximity to the range that a cat could knock over and send toward the burners, as well.
Our member Laundromat says he lost a house due to this design, and there are other stories about that, as well. Given that I've been through a house fire, I am extremely cautious about stuff like that. |
